About Us
Dr. David Willett graduated from East Tennessee State University's Medical School in Johnson City, TN. He is a graduate of Self Regional Health Care Family Medicine Program in Greenwood, SC after completing a 3 year residency program in Family Medicine. He has owned and operated this practice for over 30 years. Both Drs. Willett are actively involved members of the Obesity Medicine Association. Dr. David Willett is an avid painter, loves being outdoors, and spending as much time as he can at the beach with his wife of over 30 years.
Dr. Carlin Willett graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina's Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner program. She was recently awarded an Obesity Medicine Certificate of Advanced Education. Dr. Carlin loves her dog and 2 cats. She loves gardening and travels as often as possible.
Kim works at our front desk and is the first face who greets you when you walk in our door. She has worked at the practice for over 20 years. She is married with 2 children, multiple grandchildren and a spoiled puppy.
Rebekah is a certified medical assistant. She has been with our practice for close to 10 years and "can do every job, but the doctors". She is married with 3 daughters, 1 dog, and 2 cats.
On your first visit, our friendly staff greet you and record your vital signs. Dr. Willett meets you, and together, you determine if you may benefit from weight loss program. Among other topics, obesity, physical fitness, nutrition, and behavior modification, medications, and exercise will be discussed. B12 Injections are also offered and may aid in weight loss.
Dr. Willett uses FDA approved weight loss medications. No weight loss medications are kept in the office. Your prescription will be electronically sent to the pharmacy of your choice. A SC Driver's License is required for Weight Loss Medications unless you provide our office with documentation of a medical inability to drive. Follow up appointments are required for monitoring and medication continuation.
